Premise: Above each television in your Post, put up signsthat say Y.C.J.C.Y.1.D. When people start to askwhat it means, tell them for $1.00 they can findout. After they pay the dollar, give them a card,and tell them they cannot tell anyone else. The card says, “Your Curiosity Just Cost You OneDollar”.

Needed: Fire Trucks, Ambulances, Dump Trucks, Backhoes.

Idea: Driving for a Difference Fund raiser

Premise: Does someone in your Post or Auxiliary know a local car dealer? Oftentimes, a dealer will needto swap a car from their dealership with anotherdealer in another city or state. The auto dealer can make a tax-deductible contribution to your group for the and does not have to tie up staff for the task. Remember to followinsurance regulations in your state, just in case!

Idea: Shave Fundraising - Johnny Damon

Premise: Does someone in your Post have a beard that they are willing to part with? How much money is that hair worth? Set a goal and collect donationswith a guarantee from the member that he will get their beard shaved if the goal is reached.

Idea: Cakeless Bake Sale Fundraiser

Premise: Instead of having a bake sale for the NationalHome, consider abstaining from sweets andcollecting donations for a “Cakeless Bake Sale”instead. Your sisters at Blue Hen Auxiliary to Post#6483 in Milford, Delaware sent a letter to allAuxiliary members asking them to donate whatthey would have spent on supplies for a bakesale. They raised $217 — and so could you!

Idea: Jump out of a plane

Premise: Two brave ladies from wanted to do something EXTREME to raise money for the National Home. Robin Thompson and Shirley Thornburg parachuted out of a plane at approximately 13,000 ft. overthe Palatka, Florida Airport. Together, they raised more than $1,000 and took a tandem jump on November 7. Wow!

Idea: Bag groceries Fundraiser

Premise: Ask a local grocery store if you can bag people's groceries for donations. Be certain to put up a sign saying what the donation is for.

Premise: Obtain sponsorship for kids to sit in a bath of something gross and out of the ordinary, such as baked beans or fruit-flavoured gelatin.

Premise: Research a number of debate issues and invite various community members to debate issues. Charge the audience to come and watch. The issues can be fun. For example, have your school principal argue that listening to music during class enhances a student's ability to learn versus a student who thinks that music should be banned from school.
